when this album came out I discovered southern rock. La Grange was a bolt from the heavens. although later albums were more commercial, sold more, and were okay musically, this album really shows us the inner machinery of ZZ Top. The ending of Shiek has got to be one of the best endings to any song, period. A must for any music lover's colleciton.
