So , all enthralled , as we tore through the bustling traffic of Dhanbad, nostalgia flooded our multiverse of brain , and , bam, the reckoning that we were about to watch one of yet another marvel of Tom Cruise.
Damn it !! we were late again, hoping forlornly to somehow reach by the time of national anthem, but alas, to our despair and agony, that moment was well behind us. Again as we hustled through our screen door, we could catch a glimpse of the protagonist.(oh no!! not again! we missed to first few minutes again)
We sat in our cozy seats, amongst the few scattered crowd ,like the fallen crumbs, who had gathered here with an unsurmountable excitement as us, as if we were a brethren.
And , now, behold your breath.
Unbeatable background score, which intertwines with the majestic plots and creates a surreal cinematography, immersive to the extent , that you stop breathing, as if everything has come to a standstill and there is no abyss so deep as to let the emotions sink in.
Fighting sequences are just gobsmackingly intense. The plot retains its originality yet, somehow manages to accommodate the young blood and does full justice to each of the characters.
Immaculate story building, where the protagonist through his actions tries to dissuade his deceased partner son from dissenting and loathing him, fails, and yet eventually achieves so , when he puts his life on the edge for him, does the trick for most of the audience.
Just watch this movie if you want to indulge in serene , yet intense gut wrenching plots coupled with an equally surreal background score, if you are a fan of military movies, if you are a TOM CRUISE fan, and if you want to enjoy an interstellar masterclass at all fronts.
( I can’t stop humming the background score though!!)
