Truly awful. A movie that its producers have made using nostalgia and sentimentality for the originals, yet brings nothing new to the screen. The original was groundbreaking, breathtaking and left you asking questions beyond the film. This one only leaves you asking; why did I waste my time watching it. The first 2 sequels were admittedly flawed, but still entertaining romps all the same.

Disney involvement in a franchise is more than likely its death knell. After some excellent Marvel films this feels like an awful parody of itself. RIP marvel.

Fantastic film. Probably one of the best horror films I have seen in 45+ years. The reason for this is that it is so close to reality in many ways. If you want blood and gore then it's not for you. It is deeply disturbing in places, especially the scenes with Rose the Hat, and the young children. That beauty can be so evil. I would recommend the directors cut. After seeing the 2 versions at least half a dozen times and still finding hidden meaning it is definitely 10/10.

Excited to watch this as locations near me where used for the Holmes home! Very different but thoroughly enjoyable.
