In Inside, Bo Burnham has truly created a one man masterpiece. Doing all the production, sound and visual design by himself, Bo has perfectly captured the isolation of being trapped in your own home. In this special, Bo talks about anxiety, depression, the state of the world, and how it feels to talk about this stuff. All inside of incredibly catchy songs. This special does have a lot less comedy than Bo's other projects but that's kinda the point. In 'Comedy' Bo talks about how jokes can't help fix the world and continues this point for the rest of the special. Be warned, this isn't a feel good film. Bo's done talking about this stuff inside of jokes. But I can't help but love it with all my heart and I'll be playing the songs on repeat inside of my head for months. If you're thinking about watching Inside, do it. If you've already seen it, watch it again. You won't regret it.
