Even the subpar acting couldn’t tear me away from this movie. It was definitely thought provoking and I found myself pausing it several times to stop and think: Where am I? What am I? Why am I? The concept itself was what drew me to this movie. Every great movie starts with two words, IMO. What if? …thus, what if I hadn’t watched it? I wouldn’t be striving to alter my ideal world. Peace.

All three of my stars go to Banderas. The rest of the production gets a cookie. So, Is it worth watching? Yes, so you can make up your own mind. Is it disturbing? Yes, Disturbingly drawn out and boring. Is it scary? No, but porn usually isn’t. My $.02

Plenty of action. If that and a bunch of merciless and bloodthirsty mercenaries shooting people while lying down, kneeling, or hands up in submission is your thing, you’ll be reeling in fun. There is no commitment as to which side is favored. To me - neither side which includes the press which, like most of the general population, have the moral indecency to stand around and take pictures of people that need help. All that aside, there is also a complete lack of reason for shooting the president. The author didn’t prove enough that the prez was so evil that he deserved to be shot lying down. In the end, I felt cheated. But hey, plenty of action.

It was okay. Interesting twist at the end. I just don’t like when movies try to extract emotion out of me. I’d rather it flow naturally through empathy. That aside, you can call this “payback” film more than a “revenge film.” If i think of revenge, especially when targeting sexual predators, and I have the freedom to erase any character by any means…I’m gonna do A LOT more creative damage than she did. But, in this case, she just wasn’t “crazy” enough for me. Worth a watch.
