Not every movie has to have a sweeping political or social message. This film is art. I loved every second of it for what it is and I'm looking forward to watching it again. Emerald Fennell never misses and I'm delighted that she had a cast who were not afraid to push the envelope. Barry Keoghan is a phenomenal talent and I hope he enjoys much success in the future. Alison Oliver's monologue in the bathroom was a joy to witness, delivered with raw emotion the whole way through. From the soundtrack (Anthony Willis who also did Fennell's Promising Young Woman) to the acting to the color grading and even the aspect ratio, this movie is a beautiful, unhinged, sweeping art piece. I wish it was something I could hang on my wall.
