Most of the reviews on here are from people not wanting to take the time to pay attention. This is why I always say it's better to watch most film in a theater than at home on your tv or the internet. It has that Terry Gilliam feel without the humor. Monty Python used humor to explain this time period. Lowery uses the verse as a tool to modernize the story while still keeping it true to the story. Take the time to learn about the verse it comes from. You'll be better for it.
