Great game! It's sad that in today's pc gaming market that simply releasing a 3D game in a completely optimized stated with any creative attention to anything other than hyper-realistic graphics is rare. Take note game developers- you can make something that is genuinely interesting and focus on anything else other than trying to make the most realistic graphics of the year.
In today's media there are too many "woke" games/media and I am happy to report this game does NOT force it down your throat that this is a colored woman. Sadly, due to today's climate I think many would make the mistake on passing on this gem (as I almost did). When any market, such as gaming, requires money to see/enjoys something makes a game that even slightly mentions a dark past of a certain demographic, it's not surprising that said demographic (the majority) will take offense to the slightest of feelings of "not being included in being seen as 100% positive/the main hero". They do not want to be reminded of it and will pass even harder. It's humanity..... For example- I couldn't go to weight watchers and try to sell them something while reminding obese people it was their decision to put food in their mouths....
This is a great game due to the overall package. It doesn't do anything particularly new or innovative but it does story, music, and voice work well as a cohesive adventure- something most game devs completely LOST in the past decade. To me, this is the only spiritual successor of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time in terms of overall quality and storytelling. It's not the best but it does an absolutely great job with what it does attempt.
