Don’t listen to the lowlifes in these reviews, nothing but a bunch of Reddit virgins that think they are actually doing something with their lives while living in their parents basement typing paragraphs which summarize why they can’t get laid Now that that’s out of the way, By far one of the greatest movies of all time, great acting all around, especially for Andrew Garfield. A must see, Christian or no Christian, considering these WERE his beliefs, how can you hate on Gibson for “forcing religion down viewers throats” when the main character IRL clearly states he felt everything he did was because of god. Hate religion for your own beliefs, but don’t hate on one of the greatest movies of all time, or even the director, simply because “religion not mine = bad” when HE WAS RELIGIOUSLY MOTIVATED TO NOT KILL. And as an added p.s. to any rats fuming over this review, no one asked you to watch it, stop crying about losing “2 hours of your life” because considering you had 2+ hours to spare to watch a movie, you obviously aren’t important enough to be preoccupied with anything else, ergo why you wasted EVEN MORE TIME to write a pathetic 1 star review. Stop lying to yourself thinking your time is actually valuable if all you are going to do is trash on a director for “their beliefs and shoving religion down people’s throats” WHEN LITERALLY THE PROTAGONIST IN REAL LIFE WAS HIGHLY RELIGIOUS. Keep in mind in no way or any scene did they depict “you don’t believe in god, you will suffer a punishment far worse than war”. Now as for all my Hacksaw ridge enjoyers or anyone reading this before watching; I hope you enjoy/ed the film and don’t fall into the trap of bad reviews all because people nit pick worse than cinema sins.
