Oh my God...
This movie is indescribably beautiful.
This is the first time I've ever felt so moved by a film that I've bothered to leave a review. My intrigue was initially captured by the cinematography I saw in the trailer online. Upon first starting the movie I feared it'd be too slow paced and boring to keep my short attention span, but as I continued to watch I had found Wong Kar-Wai had entrapped me in the most beautiful and heartbreaking story that I could not tear my eyes nor my heart from.
From the incredible acting to the most gorgeous shots and framework I found myself entranced and invested in the two main character's life. By the end I was left feeling hollow yet impassioned by the movie. It's hard to put into words my emotions and often am at a loss for words when trying to explain my love for this movie.
I will admit this movie is not for everyone and some people will watch and be disappointed. This is a film you have to appreciate for it's being, this film doesn't just aim to entertain, it tells a real story.
This movie truly touched my soul as dramatic as that sounds and I hope more people watch and find a love for it as I have. It has easily made it's way to my top three favourites and I will never stop recommending it.
