Great acting and great cast, the man whose story this is based on is extremely brave. However, I felt like the movie was a bit cheesy and glorified war a bit too much for me, plus I’m not big on romance in war. I feel the focus and time could have been better used elsewhere in the story. I think they should have spent more time seeing how the war was impacting the men.

Enjoyable to watch but predictable and unoriginal. Great casting choices.

The overall story is good and has real potential if you can get through the teenage BS, cliches, and lack of development. The show just jumps into the story without explaining hardly anything or just the very minimum to get by. The world isn’t really developed at all and neither are the characters. They don’t really explain what fairies are compared to humans such all the types of magical abilities they could have or rules around it and why some seem to have it while others don’t (unless I miss it because it was so short). The characters don’t appear to like each other but are some how friends? Nonetheless, I hope season 2 focuses more on magic and world development, rather than cat fights and partying.
