Given it's the first original Indian Netflix series, Sacred Games rightfully deserves all the praise it has been garnering from all sections of the audience. The series has its directors and the actors to thank for its fame for they have done an incredible job. Every still from the series can be converted into a wallpaper. The background score is top drawer which is a welcome change for Indian shows. There's no censorship at all. The characters are well written, and the screenplay is gripping. It's not a perfect nail biting thriller, and many scenes are predictable/unoriginal but it's the best Indian show so far. Therefore awaiting season 2 to be able to fully critique the show.

One of the best and most underrated shows that deserves more recognition than it has earned. It's filled with dark humor, shamless actions, situational comedy, witty one liners, drama, and heart touching emotions. The actors are brilliant. The plot in every episode is gripping.
