First of all its important for viewers to go into this film with an extremely open mind and with no expectations of what will or must happen. This film is a complete mind bender that slowly subverts your expectations as it progresses. It has very subtle nuances that allow for the film to be re-watched and always offers something new to audiences no matter how many times one may have watched it. LJP really shines in creating a quiet and peaceful yet, haunting atmosphere, that audiences have no choice but to be immersed in. It heavily draws inspiration from the Lovecraftian genre of horror and the fear of the unknown, which is something that I personally love. There is a LOT of foul language and is not for the faint of heart. If you are looking for a fun and enthralling dive into a rarely ventured style and genre and would love to see a grounded sci-fi thriller, then this movie is definitely for you. If you are not a fan of thrillers of sci-fi, and appreciate films with lighter tone, than this film is best to be missed, though it can spark an interest within you for this type of genre.
