Hyped, overrated!
When I saw the 'title' of the movie for the first time, I thought somehow the movie has been linked to Leonardo da Vinci or some of his works. Even, the poster uses 'Vitruvian man,' one of the finest creations of Leonardo da Vinci. The question is why the name 'Vinci da?' There is nothing in the movie which can be linked to Da Vinci except for the solitary scene where Rudronil, lead character (Vinci da) of the movie places his arguments in 3-4 lines in favour of Leonardo da Vinci in course of a conversation with some random characters of the movie. That's all! I mean, had the name of the movie been Newton da or Nobel da, or Bablu da, what difference would it have made to the story-line and screen play? ... Not expected from Srijit. I felt, Srijit made a failed attempt to present this sub-standard Psycho-thriller. It is hardly intriguing, clearly lacked research, and homework. Nothing to cherish about the movie.
