I really enjoyed this! I haven't seen the original A League of Their Own so I could watch it as its own thing rather than comparing it to its 'remake' (use that word very loosely). The two storylines between the Peaches and Max and her baseball journey and the way they connected were done so brilliantly. Loved all the characters, thought they were fleshed out well and hopefully, there is a season 2 so they can explore this more. I will just say, this story is about lesbians. Like Friends or 100 other TV shows focuses on a group of straight people. This show happens to focus on a group of gay people. Not 'everyone is gay' as so many people have been moaning about. But the main characters are. If you don't like that, just don't watch it!
