The film photography of this film is by far the best ever. Ever! Any shot in the film captured as a still could stand as an amazing photograph on its own. The close-ups, the night street chase scenes and the tunnels. The most exquisite use of light and shadow ever produced by anyone, ever. The pinnacle of film noir. Black and white makes it the perfect film that it is. Just pure genius.
