Did the casting director actually read the book? I understand changing up some characters but Jean Guy is supposed to be athletic and around 35 years old at this point. Not gray and a little slouchy. Alfred Molina is fine, as always! And why did the screenwriter make all the inhabitants of Three Pines seem like complete jerks? Why only 2 episodes for this book? More time (episodes) should have been used to develop the characters.
