Very disappointed in this show, mostly in the main character but also the simplistic writing. As for Reacher, they could have found an actor who was more monotone, lackluster, and otherwise unimpressive, but it would have been difficult. This guy is so dull, I yawn in almost every scene. Yet somehow, he is so dang smart that he knows everything, allowing the writers to jump the plot into random new directions based on his tidbits of esoteric crime-fighting acumen that issue from his vast experience. I know we gotta suspend disbelief to enjoy entertainment, but for Reacher, ya gotta suspend yer entire brain. Willa Fitzgerald is good enough to save some scenes, however, so it’s two stars for me, not one. But OMG Amazon, please do better.
