An equal blend of vulgarity and needless, senseless violence (which doesn't even evoke fear), Animal is a work of self indulgence by the director, patriarchal mindset and some latent frustration or generational blood thirst. Lot of money and resources wasted on a perverted fantasy. All the women characters portrayed brilliantly. Male actors were loud and scatter-brained. Not sure the director intentionally did the disservice to menfolk! He owes an apology to all animals for sure.
