Starting off with how the game runs: +Visuals look good +The look of the overall game stays very faithful to the original +++ the ability to use the pokemon bank anywhere, love that they've kept this from other games. - "sticky" movement, whenever moving around anything where you're touching it, movement becomes poor unless moving is absolute straight lines - Sometimes a bit of a lag when transitioning into wild encounters, odd on a game this "simple" when compared to flawless animations on other pokemon titles on the switch. - seems like poor optimisation for particular animations. The game Don't remember the story being this bad, seems like a bunch of very disconnected events/scenes. The rival plays no real role other than to pop up in the most random times.... when chasing down team galactic decides to test his strength? Honestly there have been plenty of times when I just wanted to finish the game and be done with it, just so I can have the legendary pokemon for my collection.
