Absolutely love the show as time goes by with a brilliant cast and characters to this programme. Followed the entire series all the way through in fact, I’m watching it again now I love it that much. My only disappointment was with a very last series of the last couple of episodes of the program. The character of Alistair is amazing incredible actor and he played this so well Judy again Jean’s daughter of brilliant actress Moira Brooker and Sandy the sister-in-law and Jean brother-in-law all the characters were fantastic and not forgetting how who could forget the wonderful Joan Sims and Lionel’s dad, it was just brilliant. The incredible acting of Judy Dench I could watch this lady literally all day just acting on her own. She is the epitome of a brilliant actress and seems to be a wonderful, wonderful person. Well, Lionel and Jean are now finally on their own. It just seemed to end on such a miserable note. The characters of Lionel and Jean seemed almost miserable to be on their own finally and very last scene was actually Lionel and Jean dancing in a hall from a previous episode. I don’t know. Maybe it’s my interpretation of this or just how it seemed. I just wish the ending of the series had been done a little bit differently. That’s all.
