I enjoyed McCarthey's efforts. I suspect he would acknowledge the entire BRATS venture was therapeutic for him. I admit I did snicker at McCathey's sniffling over his "mistreatment" at being labeled by Blum's article (that - by the way - mentioned McCarthey ONE TIME). Demi Moore, Rob Lowe and one of the talent agents (do not recall her name) seemed to be politely rubbing Andrew on the head and urging him to "get over it." BUT with all of that said, it was a pleasant look back.
As others have mentioned: 1)Where was Anthony Michael Hall...? and 2) We should all be so "unlucky" as to be included in a New York Magazine article in our early 20s. Rob Lowe and Demi seem to have dealt with the "Brat" label pretty well. I concur with an earlier review - these theatrical types do seem to take themselves very seriously. Overall - enjoyable.
