Feels like I’m watching SpyKids Drop a few swears and rate it PG, that way you can market to kids, then sell toys. Bad plot, bad acting, bad motives and bad ending. Clearly the writers strike is still happening. Chosen for being a poor immigrant, blue beetle takes control of a young Mexican kid to take on the evil doings of a white person. Banding together with his poor immigrant family to save the day, a gun slinging grandma makes a reference to a war well before her time. Very bad racism, are all poor Mexican families living in America like this? The “hero” family admits to harbouring aliens and participating in human trafficking. What was the moral of the story?
