Rosa Salazar and Christof Waltz were compelling and very endearing in their roles. While Alita's love interest had a very 2-dimensional character and a few background points should have been expanded upon more, all in all I loved the movie. It set itself up for a sequel, and I believe it deserves one. This was a great proof of concept, it just need a little improvement on supporting cast dialogue. 8 out of 10!
