The acting was very good and Lady Gaga is a great singer. But for me the movie was tedious and rehashed his troubled upbringing. For me the Joker story has been over-told and it is time to move on.

I have only watched 4 full episodes. From the beginning, you do not know what the Dad did to cause the whole family to go in hiding from the US government for years. The worst episode is when escaping across the US-Mexico border the Dad was directly responsible for the death of Hector who was helping them cross the border. That was really not nice to do that. After that I couldn’t watch any more episodes.

It is a basically scientific account of a comet strike in novel or science fiction form. It is a real page turner-better than a movie

The one thing I learned from this movie is don’t live on a dreary island with almost no people - it will drive you stir crazy and make you do weird things.
