The underlying focus of this movie is savantism. The main character is a savant, but the story wraps around the savants that he meets in his life. Below it all, or rather, the plot is "the little guy beats the big guy", and that is the fun part. Have you ever had someone grab you just above your knee, and how you squealed and wiggled to get away from that? That sudden burst of stimulation? That is how a lot of autistic feel when someone tries to hug them. This movie is maybe not a "classic", as classics are about "normal" people, but this movie is incredible to watch from an autistic person, a savant's point of view.
