First, let me say, I like Trump.
I really did enjoy the show, "The Apprentice" and I think if he were just staying in his lane, I wouldn't have been aware of much else about him...but he's opened himself to be looked at under a microscope, this has been the case with every president of The United States.
So here we are...
I'm going to keep this short.
The bad reviews look like they are from people who didn't even see the movie.
The good reviews are from people that saw it.
That should tell you a lot.
If anything, it's an important movie to see because it's something Hollywood was afraid of and it will encourage them to take more risks.
My wife and I saw it, we loved it.
If she doesn't like a movie, she passes out or wants to leave.
It kept her engaged, that's a tall order.
As for me, I liked it...well written, well directed, great characters, and eerily factual (I swore a lot of this seemed made up, but I was floored to find out it was true.).
Should you see it? Yes.
Is it a partisan hack-job? No, it's making a real effort to be fair to all players on the court...just as you find ardent, simple-minded Trump supporters saying something about it being bad, you will find easily-triggered liberals saying it's not mean enough to Trump.
Decide on you own, go see it.
