Emmanuel Enwia

This was my introduction to the Assassin's Creed franchise, and it might be different to some of the early releases but I enjoyed this game very much. The action is intense, the free-running never gets dull and the stealth sections are very entertaining, even if there are too many tailing missions. One of the better story games I've played, especially since you get to command your very own pirate ship, truly a unique and exhilarating experience.

This generation is a welcome addition to the pokemon franchise, I really enjoy exploring the vast, albeit empty, expanses of Paldea on a legendary pokemon. Personally, the shortcomings of this game on the technical side have not affected my gameplay to much of an extent but these issues are at most times quite noticeable, whether it be the weird character models from a distance or the graphic drops. Overall, this game has been a blast to play, though I hope that Gamefreak patches most of the technical issues.

Aside from the connection issues caused by Nintendo's poor online service, this game is insanely entertaining. I am fairly new to the series but not only is the lore very interesting but the game itself keeps me engaged at all times. Turf War is quite enjoyable with the only fault being teammates who don't really work as a team. Salmon Run is really fun and gets my heart racing, the inclusion of new boss Salmonids, egg throws and Cohozuna have really improved the gameplay. I have heard pretty mixed reviews on the hero mode but I will say this, it is a huge improvement and offers great player freedom. Finally, TableTurf battles are an interesting spin on Turf War that I can't seem to get good at. Even if no new major modes were added to the game I see it unfair to judge a game on what could have been, instead I prefer to cherish what we have. Overall, a 9/10.
