I am currnetly watching this series via streaming so I just finished season 14. During this season I lost ALL respect for Sig Hansen for two reasons. Reason #1. During this season Wild Bill lost a crew member over board. He got mad and hollered at his crew (which is why I am not a fan of Wild Bill, he ALWAYS gets mad first) His crew ignored him and set about quickly and efficiently rescuing said crew member. Once Bill settled down it was plain to see that he reacted to the situation and it shook him up. He apologized to all of his crew then phoned another captain for support?, reassurance? help?. Not sure but he obviously was seriously shook up. So he phoned Sig. Sig's reaction was to laugh at him. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! So that burned up most respect. Second reason. If Sig even sees another boat on the horizon he bitches and moans about people not respecting "his space" because he was there first. And then he proceeded to drop all of his pots directly on top of another boats gear and again, laughed it off. If I was the other boat I would have pulled my own gear, stacked it then pulled Sig's gear, emptied it and thrown it back. Slow, but funny right Sig?

Terrible movie. Story was not smooth progressing. EMP! Tablet fried! You are NOT looking at pictures after the fact! Smart phone, also Fried. Not gonna charge that baby up. And where would you charge it anyway? Most of the vehicles driven in this movie would still run as they are not electronic. That jeep won't run. And the begining 15 minutes was just celluloid filler as in the long run it had absolutely nothing to do with the story line. Too many stretches throughout to give the story any kind of credibility. As far as the decline of people into lawlessness and reprehensible behaviour too quickly in the story line I can look at real life "news" coverage of the devastating BC wildfires this summer and see that behaviour in people in just a few days is because the so called "mainstream news" coverage is inaccurate and misleading. So this is happening and we have tv and internet coverage. Imagine if there was ZERO updates or news coverage of any kind. People really will downgrade this quickly. Can't give it ZERO so I had to give it a one.
