Probably the worst "legal drama" out there. This is just woke garbage where everything is a point to shoehorn the idea of color. As a man of color, I found this revolting. But beyond that, the problem is with the flow and threads that the characters are written with. The actual legal bits are few and far between. The show will identify a thread of investigation and then skip to family politics or some racy scene. It completely ruins the immersion that legal dramas are known for. I understand that it attempts to show a person of color in a high-powered environment and how she maneuvers through the different aspects of life. But this isn't the way to show it. It almost feels like her legal prowess are so limited because she has to be a mother, a separated wife, and a gossiping friend through it all. I am not the least bit inspired by her. If she was my lawyer, I would find a new lawyer, lose my case, and go to prison instead of watching a second season of this.
