Stylish opening credits promised something special to follow. Not my genre but I quite enjoyed the spectacle of ancient battles and the depiction of the colosseum as a lake as on my visit to Romeโs colosseum that was mentioned . Found the animals frightening and a bit far fetched.
Well caste but Russell Crowe is a hard act to follow.
Grand scale production and worth a look!
