Helen Mirren - not at her best . Big disappointment. Feels like the makeup acting - not her. Golda was nothing like that sleepy, tired and catatonic image. As an Israeli ( and I personally met with Golda) I was unable to feel that GREAT MOTHER OF ISRAEL. However , the film was able to deliver the feel of the Yom Kippur War. Very good directorial work. Maybe then the title of the fils should be not Golda , but Atonement Fight( or something like that )
