Jay Boy

The staged show is unexplicably boring but has its moments, especially the dancing and physical endurance of the performers.. The screen adaptation is an atrocity of bad casting and poor decision making of fresh ideas to help the stage musical transition to the big screen. Unfortunately, there is nothing interesting to see, the singing is poor, sounds tired and lacking energy, Dame Judy Dench being the worst of the group. This character is normally played by a male bass and Ms. Dench cannot bring anything but a silly lackluster performance to the screen. Bringing all the recognized actors to this piece only serves as a disrespect to the arts and their reputation. Yes, they got paid and it is obvious that's all they cared for. This movie is atrocious and I won't even wish my worst enemy to endure 2 hours if this nonsense. Perhaps one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I would have rather watched all Sharknado movies in one sitting. At least, they had the purpose to entertain.
