Beginning was iffy for me, but lord when they brought in the OGs as well as the parallels to the first movie, it had me HOOKED. Killer reveals genuinely shocked me as well as seeing a familiar face as well as an OG death. I can see how this movie might be less enjoyable if you haven’t seen the first one and cannot understand the parallels but at that point, why tf you watching a 5th addition to a franchise without seeing the others… 🤨
