I am not impressed with Champions so far. To eliminate the fan voting just seems stupid to me. That has to be one of the main reasons AGT has been so successful.
The role of the judges seems to be irrelevant in this version of AGT and frankly Heidi's gold buzzer choice in the last episode was just appalling. Choosing a knife act over Courtney, Darcy and most of the other great acts just left me baffled.
I have it on automatic record but unless there are changes by the next show I'll probably delete the episode and cancel my auto record.
