The first couple episodes almost made me not finish watching... I was far more intrigued by the story than I was the acting. A lot of the dialogue felt off, forced, and somewhat simple. A lot of cliché add ins as well. Being that we live in a world surrounded by social media, it made sense with how they wrote it. I enjoyed the casting, my only complaint would be the wife... her acting seemed a bit dull and lackluster in my opinion. I don't think it's god awful, but it definitely wasn't even close to similar shows I've seen. With that being said, overall, I think it was pretty decent and I don't regret using my time to watch it.
And little PSA for other reviewers crying about how diverse the cast is, watch out, your racism is showing.
