This is the movie that turned me around about Russell Crowe. Up until watching this movie -- now probably almost 20 years ago, I didn't think much of him as an actor. This turned me around (almost 20 years ago) and I have watched this movie time after time. Always enjoy it with the power plays, the different agendas of the characters, the characters themselves. It is really an extremely well done movie. It also made me want to visit Bisbee, Arizona where Kim Basinger's character was from -- & where she & White's character end up leaving for at the end of the movie.
