This month I've read two books:
Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow
Before the Coffee Gets Cold ☕
Both books were in the top 10 reads.
Both books made me question WHY the level of writing exists.
SCATHING REVIEW BY ME:
At 1/4 of the way in:
I'm hoping before the coffee gets cold book gets better soon ☕ It seems like it's been written by a primary school kid as a short story but they wanted to fill the word limit without advancing much of the plot.
After finishing:
I honestly recommend you all skip this book and spend an hour creating a story much better than this, even if it's a short story it's probably gonna be better than this.
Feel free to read it, but I really don't think it's worth the paper it's printed on.
I'd honestly throw this across the room, tear out the pages, use it as a bad example of what not to do when writing a book.
In comparison, Tomorrow book was okay. Had an interesting premise in the first half but then floundered and didn't know how to develop its characters either.
TLDR;
Petition to make books a certain standard of quality.
Anyone know of any GOOD books, to cleanse out my brain?
