I love Hans Zimmer. At least Hans Zimmer from Apple Music. And I truly thought this would be one of the most inspiring, once-in-a-lifetime performances I’d ever see. But I left with a shoulder shrug. A bit underwhelmed. How can someone who has mastered music the way Zimmer has be so tone deaf when it comes to his own performances? Despite a few nice moments, the sound quality, song order, and timing simply fell short. Particularly at the price point we purchased tickets.
