First of all, when I saw the trailer, I thought that Sandra Bullock was Hannah and I thought that a Sandra Bullock and a Patrick Dempsey movie will be good, don’t get me wrong but this movie is also good that’s why I gave it a 4/5. However, I think that it will not make it’s way into my 5/5 list. I mean, the characters are charming and I really love Michelle as Hannah. I think there is a charisma between the two and the plot is also well-written even though it’s somehow predictable. I mean, I am not complaining about those stuff because I’m into it. BUT! What truly disappointed me was at the ending — they could’ve atleast stretched it abit. Like the horse scene when Patrick’s character Tom realized that he should proceed with his initial plan and that is to get the girl. They could’ve done so much better than Tom crashing the door of the church to interrupt the wedding, they could’ve atleast used the horse in crashing the wedding while Tom was ridding in it since Hannah mentioned a Bronte novel on the first part of the movie and she is really into arts which gave Tom a new image. P. S. I know that they knew each other for such a long time but what’s the harm in adding some twist into Tom’s character in crashing the wedding scene as compared to falling off on the floor which completely messed that moment which should’ve been heroic. I know that it’s a romcom and they somehow wants to make us laugh but duh, we’ve seen it in the first half of the movie. They could have done something about it, really. Then comes Tom and Hannah’s wedding day, I think it’s fun and Hannah looks simple but elegant. It’s good though they could’ve showed as more after the honeymoon, like what happened to Tom and Hannah. Did Tom really changed for the better? I mean, those kind of stuffs. Is Notting Hill the only movie that will do that? C’mon! They could have showed as more in the ending, actually. I am not truly mad at this film and I can see myself watching it again after some time, although I’m not gonna blame myself if I am gonna wish for another ending all over again.
