Extraordinary, compelling and beautiful. My husband and I cannot wait for the next episode. I have been passionate about animal behavior of some species for years and learn something new with every episode. I mean FIRE ANTS!!! YIKES!! The unique hunting behavior by different pods of Orca, Blue Whale behavior! Learning about the ingenuity of some species is so fascinating to me. I also think of all those in the America's that really don't know about the animals that live amongst us and maybe this series will help them appreciate the natural world around us by giving it a human theme they can relate to. I agree, not a preferred explanation of behavior, but if it gets us humans to appreciate nature then I say what ever it takes. Maybe that is the idea. I absolutely love Tom Hanks' voice and cadence in this series.
