Law enforcement officers, firefighters & paramedics are not demoted to 9-1-1 communications duty. Why? Because they can’t perform the job without being properly trained. There’s a lot more to it than just answering a phone! It was a form of punishment years ago, but not anymore. It is however a perfect “light duty” job for those that are still healing from an injury or surgery, but they do so under supervision until they are properly trained. The people behind this movie should’ve done their homework before following through with this project & it would’ve been more realistic to me.
