The original little mermaid movie is my favorite Disney movie of all time. So I was a bit apprehensive about watching this adaption, fearing it would “ruin” the original . I was pleasantly surprised that it managed to be true to the Disney version while also having unique reinterpretations. Ursula should have been scary. Prince Eric is handsome. Ariel is mixed race and has a beautiful voice. overall highly recommend
