🚨***Spoiler Alert*** 🚨
What I disliked about the movie is that a Russian Mob who has been virtually invisible from detection from the Law, for who knows how long, gets infiltrated by a women who easily sneaks into the Mobsters place of business and just kidnaps him. I mean, you would think the Driver of the Mob leader would've had 1 or 2 "security" guys to watch his back and make sure transportation goes smoothly. I don't think anyone can just walk up to a Mob driver and casually ask questions to trick them. Maybe I'm wrong.
This movie had me rooting for the Mob guy to cause more problems and torture the Guardian in signing release forms to get the Mobster's mother out, and ultimately kill the Guardian as a consequence for her actions. But no, they decide to team up, make billions of dollars, till the Guardian FINALLY gets what she deserves in the final minutes of the film. The satisfaction of seeing justice be done to the Guardian dragged on and was kinda predictable towards the end. I was happy and literally shouted "It's about time" when the Guardian gets shot. And aside from the girlfriend getting roughed up was her only punishment? I didn't think the Mob allows loose ends to continue breathing.
The film started off great, you get to hate a character early and hope they get what they deserve, but that satisfaction comes literally at the final minutes of the film, and there are a lot of questionable scenarios that seem highly unlikely throughout the whole movie.
I'd give the movie a negative ⭐ if possible, but I'm a huge fan of Peter Dinklage and Dianne Wiest, so they each get a star.
