It has good potential but was a very boring film with hardly any action. I guess the last 20 mins of this 2 hour and 11 minute movie were relatively interesting but even that “action” felt watered down.

Really tried to get behind this but not really a strong showing. Contained some creepy scenes but overall very slow, dialogue felt poor and was drawn out.

I never leave google reviews for movies but thought I’d help prevent someone else from wasting 88 minutes of their life. This is by far the worst “horror” movie I have ever seen in my 26 years of life. It’s not scary nor thrilling, in fact it’s comical, if anything. The best part was the ending because that meant that the movie was over. Do yourself a favor and do not watch this film - I wish I had read these review prior to viewing.

Incredible anime, I wish it was longer. Spoiler: I didn’t like that Tatsume died at the end but it was a very realistic and well written ending. I really wanted Tatsumi to be with Akame at the end..

Very slow, boring and repetitive “thriller”. This film was more sad than anything.

I thought this was a great film. It was a somber movie but very well written. The format and design of the story was refreshingly different and very cleverly executed. I’d highly recommend if you’re into medieval movies.

Only providing 2 stars because of the plot twist at the end. Very slow movie with hardly any action.. wouldn’t insult the thriller genre by including the name of this movie in the same sentence.

I really wanted to get behind this movie after learning Cuba Gooding Jr was the director and presented a pretty solid cast. However, this film was absolutely awful and very disappointing - waste of two hours.

Yikes. This movie has some eerie moments and dialogue but overall a terrible film. Acting was good but plot was very confusing and all over the place.. save yourself the time.

I’m a avid horror movie consumer and I can honestly say that this was a good horror film. It felt a bit long for a scary movie but was well worth the investment in my opinion.
