As a true Kamalhasan fan, it is a treat for us. Obviously, it is very hard to understand Kamalhasan 's movies for normal cinema followers and will be liked by them after couple of weeks or years. it is a good film. Nothing less than 3.5 stars. The But media like TOI who has given 2.5 stars to a versatile actor film and giving 3.5 stars to films like Tamil Padam 2 shows where our Tamil film industry is heading for. Because of this, nowadays I have stopped reading reviews from TOI and probably if it continues like this TOI may lose their readers in short time.
