The tension keeps ramping up throughout. It's horrifying and funny, often at the same time. I loved and hated these characters, again often at the same time because they are us at our ugliest, nastiest, weakest, most pathetic and damaged. And haven't we all engaged in some form of rage at a total stranger, if only in our minds? And ultimately it is comforting in its humanity and compassion. Not since Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul have I had quite this experience watching a show. Unlike those, this one is very compact, more like a long movie in its structure. The writing and acting are amazing.
