This felt like the movie 'Tomorrow when the war began'. To be honest they dragged out the plot for way too long. There was little to no details about exactly what was happening and why. The script was all over the place. The part where Ruth and Clay spoke by the pool by smoking weed, they were pushing towards him getting in the sack with her. Then they pushed the same thing for George and Julia Roberts. Why did no one else's teeth start falling out as they all copped a dose of the noise. But hey if one falls out, why not keep pulling them all out. SEROUSLY The could have done more with Clay's daughter but instead they infatuated the character with 'Friends'. If a VHS tape and her dad were hanging off the cliff and she could save only 1 of them guess what she would pick. Then she hoovers what looks like 1 month supply of food and water whilst her mother goes crazy looking for her. Cramming the entire explanation into 5 mins with George guessing what he thinks is happening - Why not explain it through the movie. The trailer is what sucked me into watching this garbage. In the end there are some books that should never be made into a movie. Obama sucked at politics as well as producing a movie. Obama needs to take lessons from TRUMP on how to successfully produce good content.

The movie is by far so much better than the original and I think it shows just how far a person will go for justice. People call the movie 'sadistic, been there done that, fake' but it is showing what a lot of rape victims think about doing after going through this sort of ordeal.
