Disgusted and repulsed. The film features inaccuracies and is an overdrawn caricature of an autistic person. The spray tan for Ziegler that is supposed to make her resemble a biracial character, as the film intended, is gross. Everything is gross. There’s no warning for strobing lights and restriction. Has blackface and inappropriate acting of an autistic person. What did Sia intend to accomplish with this film? Her ignorance shown towards the autistic community prior to the film’s production shows that her film wasn’t even to spread awareness, just a means to gain profit. Yuck.
