I had no idea about this game until I saw a trailer randomly on youtube 2 days before it launched and preordered immediately as it looked really intriguing. Still Wakes The Deep is a very interesting, first person, mystery, horror game. The Scottish voice acting is fantastic! Graphics are top-notch and really shows what the Unreal engine can do (especially in 4k). The characters, environment and details are very realistic looking. There's no combat in the game, but some sections rely on stealth and using objects to distract the monsters to progress. The story is interesting and the game is pretty linear. I never got lost or confused on how to progress (you can explore a little bit, but its pretty limited). Puzzles are simple and the game isnt that complex, mechanics-wise. It wasn't scary to me, but some parts had me going and the atomosphere/environment/sounds can be really creepy at times. Reminded me a lot of the movie The Thing, but on an oil rig. Overall a fun, somewhat creepy and interesting experience. Playing through a 2nd time (on PS5) to get the trophies I missed my first playthrough.
